To celebrate the 46th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Samoa, a competition is coming for all Samoan to capture your unique experience of Samoa & China friendship. Join us in any of the following competition categories below:
Photo & Painting -
1. Take a photo & create a painting!
2. Submit
- A full resolution image in jpg format. Data volume per image is 1M - 20M.
- Painting Artwork size should be not less than 300mm*400mm.
Essay -
1. Write a story!
2. Participants can write in English or Chinese, with clear viewpoints, with a length of 1000-2000 words.
Short video -
1. Create a TikTok video!
2. Participants use English or Chinese to make a short video of 1-3 minutes.
Awards:
1 x First place prize, a Lenovo laptop (Laptop E4180) and award certificate;
2 x Second place prizes, a Huawei mobile phone (Honor 4X full Netcom) and award certificate;
3 x Third place prizes, a portable speaker (JBLSD-21) and award certificates.
All contestants will receive a blue and white porcelain pen gift.
Requirements:
1. The competition is open to all Samoan under 35 years old.
2. Send your e-version of work to chineseembassyinsamoa@gmail.com before October 20 2021, with the subject of the email in the form of "Name-Title of Work".
3. Participants with TikTok videoes, please @samoacinus on the app.
4. Participants in the painting and essay categories must send the paper version of their work to the Confucius Institute at the National University of Samoa.
5. Leave your name and contact with your work for further notices.
